OUR OC CONTRACT FINISHING PROCESS
Wood Finishing is where we started. It is where our standards in quality are defined. With OC Contract, those standards inform everything we do in the “finishing” process - from the inspection, prep and application of our finish systems and coatings on inbound orders - be it wood, metal or glass - to the completion of the order fulfillment process for clients requesting final product assembly services, outbound quality control checks and custom packaging or crating solutions.

By utilizing our facilities and services as an extension of their operation, they reduce the costs, lead times and margin for error inherent with multi-vendor production process. At Object Chemistry, we design and develop finishes and finish systems using the highest quality materials available. We work closely with leading coatings manufacturing partners from all over the world to identify the best possible base materials, components and additives we can use in our systems to achieve the perfect finish - a finish that meets all performance requirements and still looks and feels exactly as it was intended to.

All of our wood finishes are designed and developed in-house using a combination of base materials to be applied in multiple steps through a standardized process in order to achieve the final appearance. Stain systems from SW and coatings systems from Italian manufacturer MIlesi are the standard.

From solid color, automotive-grade urethane systems (Cardinal Paint & Powder) to patinas, toners and faux systems (Sculpt Nouveau), our metal finishing systems a growing part of our contract finishing offerings and partner services.

With our glass finishing systems, we work exclusively with Cardinal, the leading US manufacturer of glass coatings and glass coating products. We work hand-in-hand with partner clients to develop specific finishes, specializing in back-painted applications both in solid color and artistic finish systems.
